About

Hi, I'm David.

I'm a college student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and every holiday season I trade my textbooks for ladders and light clips. Pacific Glow Lights helps me pay my way through school, but it's much more than a job. I love the moment a homeowner flips the switch for the first time and the whole house comes alive.

I'm an entrepreneur at heart and have launched a couple of startups. I run this business the same way: show up when I say I will, plan every design with care, and treat your home like it's my own. Every roofline is measured before we quote it, and every light is hung with professional clips. No staples, no nails, no tape.

We focus on a handful of San Diego neighborhoods so we can stay close by all season. If a bulb goes out, we're never far away.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask

How do I get a quote?

Fill out the quote form on this page, or call or text us at (619) 673-7891. We'll schedule a free on-site visit to measure your home and talk through the design, then send you a detailed written quote.

For typical rates, see Pricing above.

Do I need to be home during installation?

No. Many of our clients are at work or traveling when we install. We just need access to an outdoor outlet and to any backyard or gated areas. We'll keep you posted before, during, and after the install.

Will installation damage my gutters, roof, or siding?

No. We use professional-grade clips made to hold lights without harming gutters, rooflines, or siding, and we never use staples, nails, or tape. We're also fully insured, so in the rare event something is damaged, you're covered.

What type of lights do you use?

Commercial-grade LED C7 and C9 bulbs, the same quality used in retail and hospitality displays. They're rated for outdoor use, run much cooler than incandescent bulbs, use 75–80% less energy, and stay bright all season without the burnouts of store-bought sets.

Choose warm white, cool white, or multicolor.

When do you install and take the lights down?

Installations run from October through early December, depending on availability. Takedown happens in January. We schedule around you, but book early: the calendar fills quickly once the season opens.

Do you store the lights between seasons?

Yes. We store your lights, clips, and materials and keep your design on file, so next year's install is fast and nothing starts from scratch. Prefer to keep them at home? We can pack everything into labeled bins at your property.

What if a light goes out mid-season?

Season-long maintenance is included in every package. Call or text and we'll come fix it with no labor charge. You only pay for replacement materials. Our commercial LEDs rarely fail, and when they do, we handle it quickly.

Which areas do you serve?

Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, Del Mar, Coronado, Point Loma, Mission Hills, Kensington, Carmel Valley, and Scripps Ranch. Close by but not on the list? Ask us. We'll do our best to fit you in.
